Meet Jamenise Wilson-Kennedy, founder of Posh Confessions Hair Care! Jamenise hails from Louisville, KY by way of Birmingham, AL. She is a proud alum of Tennessee State University, where she obtained her degree in English.
Seven years ago, Jamenise entered the natural hair world via the “big chop”. Whether you’re a newbie to the natural hair game or a veteran, you know what it’s like to damn near empty your wallet trying to find the perfect blend of products for your hair. Once Jamenise mastered her look, others began to ask for her advice on how to manage their crown and from there, the idea of Posh Confessions Hair was born.
One thing that separates Posh from other hair care lines is that Jamenise believes that the natural hair journey is more spiritual than anything. In a society that constantly tells us to blend-in, our hair naturally stands out. As black women, our hair defies gravity and it represents strength and elegance. Our hair is more than a look, it is a statement, a mood --a WHOLE VIBE.
There is something magical and empowering about learning our hair, what it needs to thrive, and the different ways to rock it.
Whether you’re fro’d out, loc’d, weave’d to the gawds, or whatever...you are a Queen and who you are should be celebrated! When you shop Posh, you are not shopping just another brand looking to capitalize off of a trillion dollar industry. You are shopping the epitome of the black woman...hair, spirituality, and Queen shit.
